We’re Looking for a Full-Time Fabricator

Are you passionate about making things and working with your hands? Do you have some experience with metal fabrication, or are you willing to learn? If you’re looking for a full-time, first shift position with the possibility of promotion, read on!

JELKE’S Fabrication is seeking a responsible, reliable Fabricator to help keep our busy shop running smoothly. This position is responsible for performing custom fabrication of various types of metals as well as gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). The Fabricator must also be able to read blueprints as well as perform grinding, finishing and other related tasks. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to gain experience with gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) as well as experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.

We’re looking for someone with:

• At least 4 years’ experience in welding
• Must be able to pass a 4G weld test of Mild Steel
• Blueprint reading is preferred but not needed
• A solid, reliable work history
• Experience working in a busy environment
• A desire to learn and eventually take on added responsibility
• A friendly, helpful attitude
• A commitment to safety
