Production Welder

We’re Looking for a Full-Time Production Welder

Are you passionate about making things and working with your hands? Do you have some experience with metal fabrication, or are you willing to learn? If you’re looking for a full-time, first-shift position with the possibility of promotion, read on!

JELKE’S Fabrication is seeking a responsible, reliable welder to help keep our busy shop running smoothly. This position is responsible for welding custom fabricated jobs and production welded jobs of various types of metals by gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). The welder must also be able to perform grinding, finishing and other related tasks using hand tools. This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to gain experience with gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) as well as experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes. 

We’re looking for someone with:

• Blueprint reading is preferred but not needed
• A solid, reliable work history
• Experience working in a busy environment
• A desire to learn and eventually take on added responsibility
• A friendly, helpful attitude
• A commitment to safety
